In the Mahabharata
the kaurava Princes along wth ther wily maternal uncle shakuni hatched a
sinister plot to get rid of their
nearest contenders to the throne and very own cousins, the ever popular
Pandavas by trying to burn them in a palace made of- lac a highly combustible
substance.
A similar plan was
hatched by our modern day kauravas i.e our wily politicians who collected all
the important documents and made a bonfire of them by triggering a man made inferno.
The fire that
broke out within the precincts of the secretariat has reportedly burnt down
crucial records.
The records which
are presumed to be lost consisted of the controversial Adarsh Land scam, the
lavasa land scam and many other illegal activities ever pursued by the bureaucrats
running our country, which could have implicated the whole lot of them in the
long run.
The arson was
crafted to precision and perfected to make it look like an accident. It looks
like the fire brigade personnel were instructed to delay the salvage operations
so that the important documents were eliminated by the forces of nature.
One of the most
laughable quotes doing the rounds was: Sharad Pawar was heard asking his
Personal assistant over the Phone--- Mera File usme daala naa???(meaning- Have
you ensured that my file too has gone?????.
Even a layman knew
that this was a stage managed conspiracy to get rid of the proof and who the
master mind was, behind all this rancid stuff.
An enquiry would
be set up and by the time the report comes out (say a decade later) a swanky
new building with all the high end amenities for the tainted ministers would be
re- built with the tax payers money.
The politicians
can stoop to the lowest possible ebb in our country and most of our mature and responsible
citizens openly say that the Country hasn’t gone to the ‘’dogs’’ it has gone to
the ‘’hyenas’’. The British rule has been reenacted in this showcased democracy
of ours- any one taking on the politicians have been charged of treason, some have to cope with Income tax
raids, some with FEMA and all sort of harassment practices is on the anvil to put
them on a tight leash.
The last resort, perhaps
is a military coup which should throw all these politicians to languish in
prison for all their misdeeds. The law of the land is primarily responsible for
them to get away with any kind of infringement knowing that the Judges and
Judgement can be brought at a price.
I profoundly
prayed and wished that the fire shouldn’t have devoured the precious documents instead
it should have engulfed some of the ever growing, shameless, scam tainted ,wily
and dirty breed of homo sapiens.
